Scholarships

The College of Business offers numerous scholarships to new and continuing students.

  • New students interested in scholarships should complete the University Scholars Application (OSU application for Admission including all scholarship questions) by Feb. 1st to qualify.
  • Continuing students interested in scholarships have until February 15th to apply, as listed below.

To be eligible, students must be pursuing a primary degree in a Business major. Eligible majors include:

  • Accountancy
  • Apparel Design
  • Business Administration (Entrepreneurship or General Business)
  • Business Information Systems
  • Finance
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior Design
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Merchandising Management

Scholarships for Design Majors

Design students are eligible to apply for COB scholarships. All scholarships are awarded by the faculty. For descriptions and criteria of major specific scholarships, please see the DHE scholarship information in the OSU Catalog for description or visit 228 Milam Hall.  First preferences and class standing are noted.

 

Outside Scholarships 

Accounting.com Scholarships: For students majoring in Accounting.

Association of Office Professionals – AOP Scholarship: Full-time sophomore, junior or senior with at least one full year of undergraduate student remaining and has declared major or minor in the College of Business or has a parent/guardian who is a member of the OSU AOP.

Clemens Foundation Scholarships: Philomath area high school graduates email clemensfound@proaxis.com for more information. 

Gates Millennium Scholarship Program: Pell-eligible students participating in leadership opportunities. 

GreenPal Scholarship: For tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. Opens August 1, 2015 for the 2016 academic year. 

Hispanic Metropolitan ChamberOregon Latino Scholarship Fund 

Judith K. Hofer Scholarship:  A one-time scholarship for a former 4-H Club member majoring in Merchandising Management. 

Marketing EDGE Scholarship: Undergraduate and graduate students who are studying marketing and would like to pursue a career in this field. 

Oregon State University Folk Club:  Scholarships for new freshmen and female students over the age of 30.

Organization of Chinese Americans Scholarship Program

OSU Triad: Juniors and Seniors who have performed community service. [Updated app in 10/7 email]

President’s Commission on the Status of Women Awards and Scholarships: Funding for women faculty, students and staff who are pursuing professional development or research opportunities that support PCOSW’s mission.

Rotary PDX Scholarships: $2000 awards for five 3.25+ GPA students

Spencer Educational Foundation: Full-time enrolled junior or senior with a major or minor in a risk-management discipline, GPA of 3.0 or higher, leadership skills and relevant work experience.

Students in Service: Funding for student currently performing community service.

Udall Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship: Sophomores and juniors committed to the issues related to American Indian nations or to the environment.

Zonta - Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship: $3000 award for women undertaking business studies.
