Payment Distribution:

You will see your first payment as a credit on your student account in the fall term of next year. Scholarships are usually divided into 3 equal payments across fall/winter/ and spring term. If one third of your award exceeds your tuition/fee amount for any given term, a check for the difference will be available for you at the Financial Aid Office.  No COB scholarship payments are made in summer term.

Requirements to keep your COB scholarship:

  • Continued, full-time enrollment at OSU (full-time =12 credits or more per term)
  • Maintain Pre-Business or Pro-School business major.

Any term that you are not enrolled in 12 credits, your scholarship payment for that term is at risk. If your expected enrollment status changes for any reason during the year, contact the COB scholarship coordinator for assistance BEFORE that term begins. Name and contact information is on your award letter.

Thank you Letter

Scholarships listed below require the winner to write and send a personal thank you letter to the scholarship donor. The name of the donor will be on the award letter you receive. Send or bring your thank you letter to the COB Advising Office (Bexell 214). Once we receive your letter, we will direct the Financial Aid Office to distribute your award.
