Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

The Zonta Club of Corvallis is offering one $3,000 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship to a woman enrolled in the College of Business at Oregon State University during the 2015-16 school year. Applicant must be an Oregon resident. The local recipient is automatically eligible for a $1,000 district scholarship and the district recipient is eligible for a $7,000 international Klausman scholarship.  Applications are due May 1, 2015. The application is also attached.

Marketing EDGE Scholarship 

Marketing EDGE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to educating, developing, growing, and employing college students in the field of marketing. The organization distributed $75,000 in scholarships to deserving college students last year.  Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing careers in marketing.  All Marketing EDGE scholarships range between $1,000 and $5,000 per award.

The OSU Association of Office Professionals (AOP) was formed to foster awareness, excellence and professionalism in the ranks of office personnel. The OSU AOP will award at least one $500 scholarship based on achievement and potential for the 2015-16 academic year. To qualify, applicants must be full time Oregon State University students with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of application with at least one full year of undergraduate studies remaining during the 2015-16 academic year, AND have a major or declared minor in the College of Business, OR regardless of major, have a parent or legal guardian who is a member in good standing in OSU AOP.

A completed application; three current, signed letters of recommendation; and a current unofficial transcript must be submitted by May 2nd, 2015 to Laurie Wyant, 213 Gilkey Hall, Corvallis OR 97331 or via email to Application packet can be found at Incomplete or late application packets will not be considered.


Spencer Educational Foundation

The Spencer Educational Foundation awards scholarships to full-time undergraduate students. Some of the scholarships are general as well as named adn memorial scholarships. The Education Committee of the Foundation will consider applicants who meet the following criteria for the 2015-2016 academic year:

  • Full-time student (12 hours or more per term)* undergraduate junior/senior
  • Field of study - normally a major or minor in a risk-management discipline
  • Career objectives in risk management
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Relevant work experience
  • Leadership skills
  • Doctoral students should have had meaningful work experience
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college/university.
