M.A.I.S.

The Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) degree program is designed to permit students to formulate programs that integrate work from three separate disciplines. A student may select the following Design Programs emphases areas for a primary, secondary, or tertiary area of concentration:

  • Cultural and Historic Aspects of the Near Environment
  • Human Behavior in the Near Environment (Apparel and Housing)
  • Merchandising Management
  • Textiles

Design in the Near Environment is NOT available in the MAIS degree program.
