My research focuses on topics related to the domestic and international textile and apparel industries, consumer behavior of fashion goods, and the effect of appearance in social interaction. My current scholarly work focuses on consumer perceptions of and responses to socially responsible labeling on textile products and female student-athletes\' perceptions of competitive uniforms. I am also working with scholars from Korea and Taiwan in exploring cross-national consumer behavior.
