Costs

Estimated expenses per term range from $9,000 to $18,000 depending on placement and additional personal travel. These estimates include housing, food, airfare, program fees, visas/passports, school supplies and tuition. For students going on an exchange, tuition is paid to OSU and charged according to resident status and number of credits enrolled (most business students enroll for 15 credits). If not an Oregon resident for tuition purposes, expect costs to be at the higher-end of the estimates. Cost of tuition at OSU per term is kept up-to-date here.

Tuition:

  • The majority of the College of Business programs are "exchanges" in which students pay OSU tuition for their term abroad.
  • Programs that are not "exchanges" typically pay a program fee that includes tuition, or they will be charged tuition separately by the host institution or third-party vendor.

Visa/Passport:

  • Students are responsible for paying for required visa/residency permit fees. These can vary from $60 to $600. Some students will be required to travel out of state to obtain the required visa/permit which is in addition to the actual visa/permit cost.

Living expenses:

  • Housing and meal expenses also vary from location to location. Host institutions provide information on housing options available to students participating in a College of Business exchange/study abroad.

Travel and other costs:

  • Students are responsible for all travel expenses, including airfare to and from the host country.
