Oregon State Investment Group (OSIG)
The Oregon State Investment Group (OSIG) is a student-led organization that actively manages a $1.2 million equity portfolio on behalf of the Oregon State University Foundation, as well as two additional equity portfolios. Student analysts are assigned to value and analyze companies within their sector for possible investment by the funds. Sector leaders provide industry analysis and recommendation on specific security selection. The Oregon State Investment Group focuses on experiential learning, adding value for the foundation, and developing career-ready student analysts.
Experiential Education:
The group aims to complement classroom education with practical investment experience. Members have the opportunity to establish contacts with the business world while performing an in-depth analysis of a companies investment potential through guest visitors, discussions with corporate management, and interaction with the OSU and OSIG alumni networks.
