Dr. Audrey Iffert-Saleem is executive director of strategic initiatives for the Oregon State University (OSU) College of Business. Audrey's work focuses on getting new initiatives started, as well as figuring out how to sustain and grow them. Two critical initiatives in Audrey's portfolio include InnovationX, the OSU Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the OSU Center for Advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in Business.

Previously, Audrey coordinated the Arizona State University institution-wide effort to advance entrepreneurship education as the executive director of strategic initiatives in the ASU Office of Entrepreneurship + Innovation. Audrey held a leadership role in coordinating ASU’s entrepreneurship education efforts as a part of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Campuses Initiative to transform the ways that entrepreneurship is viewed, taught and experienced in higher education.

Audrey is a certified Lean LaunchPad instructor and has taught several university courses that leverage Lean LaunchPad methodologies. She is also co-founder and co-owner of a creative services business that has an emphasis on supporting small businesses; clients have also included TED-Ed, Car2Go, Dollar-A-Day, and Target, among others. Audrey holds an EdD in higher education leadership and an MA in human communication, both from Arizona State University. She is an advocate for women’s participation in entrepreneurship, and her dissertation research focused on engaging college women in entrepreneurship experiences. Audrey’s work to advance women in entrepreneurship has included developing, coordinating and delivering women’s entrepreneurship workshops and courses, developing and managing a mentorship program, securing grants and philanthropic gifts that advance women’s programs, and serving as a founding member of a regional women’s economic development initiative in the Greater Phoenix Metro Area.
