Dan Lykins joined the College of Business in 2003, teaching both graduate and undergraduate business law courses after he had served in OSU’s History Department for several years. In 2012 he accepted the position of Executive Director of Teaching and Learning for the College of Business. His research area dealt with the manipulation of domestic public opinion on foreign policy issues and resulted in the 2003 publication Total War to Total Diplomacy: The Advertising Council and the Construction of the Cold War Consensus.
