Research/Career Interests: 

Donald O. Neubaum is a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Faculty in the College of Business at Oregon State University. His primary research interests include strategy, governance systems, ethics, corporate entrepreneurship, family business, and corporate social responsibility. His research has appeared in outlets such as Journal of Operations ManagementOrganizational Behavior and Human Decision ProcessesJournal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and  Journal of Business Ethics. His paper entitled "Entrepreneurship in Medium-Sized Companies: Exploring the Effects of Ownership and Governance Systems" received the Best Article Award - 2000 from the Journal of Management. He is an Editor for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and serves or has served on the editorial review boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, Family Business Review and Journal of Small Business Management.  In 2011, he received the university-level Faculty Teaching Excellence Award from Oregon State University. He currently serves as Program Chair for the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management.
