Characterization of fiber microstructures and their relationship to fiber physical, chemical, and mechanical properties, study of fiber degradation mechanisms, identification of textile materials for special applications and new materials for textile applications.
Personal Interests
Naturally colored cotton fiber, chemistry and microstructures of natural pigment, environmentally friendly techniques for cotton textiles disinfestation.

Textile fiber characterization, chemical and analytical analysis of natural fiber chemical compositions, properties and applications of functional textiles, textile thermal insulation properties, environmentally friendly and sustainable material for textile applications.
