Dam Good Self-Care (Presented by OSU Counseling & Psychological Services) | Austin Hall 260 
Dam Good Self-Care is a 50-minute workshop on stress management. Stress is an extremely common issue and unless it is effectively managed, it can take a toll on physical and mental health. This workshop focuses on tips and skills for immediate stress relief as well as long-term stress management strategies that can help keep stress under control.

For business graduates, obtaining a finance degree is just the beginning.  You need to take a closer look at available career options in order to gauge which options have the greatest potential for long-term success.  Within finance firms, there are many paths that encompass niche opportunities.  The key to your success is to research and understand the jobs that have the greatest compatibility with your skills and interests.  The speakers in this panel will discuss career tracks available within financial institutions and investment firms. Allen Bond of the CFA Board will moderate and panelists include: Mark Corcoran (US Bank), Rob Greenman (Vista Capital Partners), Kathleen Kee (Confluence Wealth Management) and Lisa Massena (Oregon Retirement Savings Plan)

A career in finance isn't all about the money!  Finance industries are multifaceted, offering a variety of positions that cater to a number of different skills and interests (e.g., accounting, marketing, HR).  The speakers in this panel have built successful careers in financial institutions or investment firms.  They have exciting experience engaging in various jobs ranging from accounting, client relations, marketing and risk management. Sandra Rankin (Guardian Real Estate) of the CFA Board will moderate and panelits include: Justin Nix (US Bank), Denise Patridge (Charles Schwab), Paul Smith (Fisher Investments), and Ed Turnquist (DA Davidson).
