First-Year START (fall term)
The OSU New Student Programs and Family Outreach office coordinates START orientations for first-year students. The START orientations take place throughout the summer and are for incoming freshman who will begin taking classes the following fall term. Learn more about First-Year STARTs

Winter and Spring Term Orientations
New Student Orientations
The OSU New Student Programs and Family Outreach office coordinates orientations for transfer students and incoming freshman who are starting at OSU in winter or spring term. During this orientation you will:
Attend an Academic Presentation about the College of Business and your new major.
Plan your first term schedule at OSU.
If you have transfer credits, discuss how those credits will fit into your academic plan.
Get your PIN number and register for your next term's classes.
**Please bring any unofficial copies of your college transcripts with you to the orientation session.**

Math Placement Test
If you haven’t completed a calculus class or taken college algebra within the last year, you may be asked to take the Math Placement test when you arrive on campus for the orientation. If you have any questions about whether or not you need to take the test, contact our office at 541.737.3716.
