Student Tips

Academic Success Tip:
Practice tests are one of the best ways to determine your true readiness for an exam. Quiz yourself with flashcards or Quizlet. Make a practice test for a friend in the class and vice versa.  Be sure you mix up the questions, so they aren’t in chapter order. Set a time limit so you feel what it’s like to take it under pressure.

Career Success Tip:
5 Tips for the First Day of Your Internship -
1. Understand the opportunity - the company wants to see how well you work in a professional setting.
2. Recognize that they want to hire you - they are invested in your success.
3. Know the Company - your knowledge and expertise will help you stand out.
4. Learn your role - know what you are supposed to accomplish.
5. Network, network, network! - make a positive impression on a large number of people.
