Computer Lab

The Bernie Newcombe Digital Commons is a 100-seat computer lab located on the second floor of Austin Hall and open to any current OSU student and faculty. This lab includes four graphic design stations with 22-inch Wacom Cintiq tablets for design students.

Fall, winter, and spring terms:

Monday-Friday 7:30am-10:00pm
Saturday 12:00pm-6:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-8:00pm

NOTE: Hours may vary before and after university holidays. We are closed during each break between terms. Hours are subject to change at any time.

Summer term:

  • Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Printing

The Austin Hall computer lab offers printing services through BeaverPrint.  Both color and black and white are available as well as 11x17 printing.  The prices are as follows: 

Black & White Single-Sided $.07/sheet
Black & White Double-Sided $.09/sheet
Color Single-Sided  $.25/sheet
Color Double-Sided $.40/sheet

Large-format printing is also available in Austin Hall.  Prints can be made up to 36” wide and as long as needed.  Both plain and heavyweight-coated paper is available.  Prices are as follows:

Plain paper Black & White or Color $0.25/sq. ft. printed
Heavyweight-coated Black & White or Color $1.25/sq. ft. printed
