Hyun Seok "Huck" Lee is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain and Logistics Management in the College of Business at the Oregon State University.
Professor Lee's primary research involves studying service operations with an emphasis on retail operations. His research has been published (or forthcoming) in academic journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. He serves as a reviewer for several journals, including Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Decision Sciences. Professor Lee is the recipient of research awards including Best Interdisciplinary Paper Award (2018) from DSI 2018 Annual Conference, Rising OM Scholar Award (2016) and M. Wayne DeLozier Award (2016) from UNC-Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Professor Lee received his PhD in Operations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also has master’s degree in Logistics, Service and Operations Management and bachelor degree in Business Administration from Korea University Business School. Professor Lee teaches Operations Management to undergraduate, Service Operations Management to both undergraduate and MBA students at the College of Business OSU. He is the recipient of teaching award, Betty and Forrest Simmons Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award (2019) from Oregon State University College of Business.
