Student clubs, links to industry tours, career explorations & more

The College of Business boasts 25+ student-led clubs representing every major and interest connected to business and design. These clubs allow students to explore their career passions as well as help them develop skills, connect with peers and engage with alumni and industry professionals. Here are some standout accomplishments and activities from our clubs this year:
- Marketing Club: Traveled to the Bay Area to tour companies like Adobe and Canary Marketing. They also attended a panel featuring professionals from LinkedIn, Airbnb, Crunchyroll, Lettuce and Hanna Andersson.
- Business Analytics Club: Spent the day at Daimler Truck North America on a company trek, gaining firsthand insight into the analytics behind a major organization.
- Apparel Design and Merchandising Management Clubs: Visited Nike and Adidas, exploring projects and learning about the innovative world of outdoor fashion.
- Finance Club: Hosted insightful panels on wealth management and investing, while the Financial Planning Club organized a speed networking event with 10 financial planning professionals.
- Oregon Banker’s Association Roundtable: Our finance-related clubs brought together senior leadership from banks across Oregon for discussions on industry trends.
- MarketingX: This student-run initiative provides marketing services to local businesses, giving students invaluable, real-world experience to enhance their résumés.
- Real Estate Club: Hosted guest speakers on topics like first-time home buying and real estate investment, managing a student-led portfolio of over $5 million.
- Investment Group (OSIG): Recognized as one of the top 25 largest student investment funds, offering hands-on financial management experience.
- Sports Business Club: Organized a company trek to Seattle, where students visited renowned sports organizations like the Seahawks and the Mariners.
- Beta Alpha Psi: Held a Meet the Firms event, connecting students with representatives from over 30 accounting companies.
- Alpha Kappa Psi: Volunteered at Night to Shine, an event supporting individuals with special needs, showcasing the club’s dedication to community service
