Computer Lab

The Bernie Newcombe Digital Commons is a 100-seat computer lab located on the second floor of Austin Hall and open to any current OSU student and faculty. This lab includes four graphic design stations with 22-inch Wacom Cintiq tablets for design students.

Lab Hours:

Fall, winter, and spring terms:

  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

NOTE: Hours may vary before and after university holidays. We are closed during each break between terms. Hours are subject to change at any time.

Summer term:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Statgraphics is available for all OSU students and employees with an ONID account at

An activation code for Statgraphics can be obtained at after downloading and installing the software. Be sure to use your ONID email address for the online form to work.
