Course Overview

Managing Change and Resolving Conflict equips leaders and managers with the essential skills to navigate the challenges of organizational change and interpersonal conflict. In today’s fast-paced and evolving business environment, leaders are frequently called upon to guide teams through uncertainty, address resistance, and resolve disputes both within the organization and with external partners.

This introductory course explores the dynamics of change and conflict, helping participants understand why change can be difficult and how leaders can effectively support individuals and teams through transitions. Learners will examine proven change management models, including Kotter’s Eight-Step Process and Lewin’s Change Model, while also gaining exposure to additional frameworks such as ADKAR and other organizational approaches.

Through practical insights and real-world applications, participants will learn how to plan and implement change initiatives, communicate effectively during periods of uncertainty, and foster engagement and participation across teams. The course also addresses the root causes of resistance to change and provides strategies to manage and resolve conflict constructively.

By building a strong foundation in both change leadership and conflict resolution, this course prepares managers to lead with confidence, maintain team alignment, and drive successful outcomes in complex and evolving environments.

Course Format

This 5 hour self-paced course offers a dynamic and engaging learning experience, combining interactive elements such as games, flashcards, video content, real-world case studies, and curated readings. Participants have the flexibility to progress at their own pace, while interactive games and quizzes reinforce key concepts and track progress. Flashcards, expert-led videos, real-world case studies, and carefully curated readings deepen knowledge.

This course is part of the Leading Through Change and Conflict program.
