Course Overview

Resolving Workplace Conflict Effectively provides managers and professionals with the tools and strategies needed to navigate conflict in a productive and constructive way.

Conflict is a natural part of any workplace, and leaders play a key role in addressing it before it impacts performance, relationships, and organizational culture.

This course introduces the different types and causes of workplace conflict and explores practical approaches to managing disagreements. Participants will examine the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) to better understand their own conflict style and how it compares to others.


Through expert insights and real-world scenarios, learners will build the skills to identify conflict early, apply appropriate resolution strategies, and manage both routine and high-risk conflict situations effectively.

Course Format

This 6 hour self-paced course offers a dynamic and engaging learning experience, combining interactive elements such as games, flashcards, video content, real-world case studies, and curated readings. Participants have the flexibility to progress at their own pace, while interactive games and quizzes reinforce key concepts and track progress. Flashcards, expert-led videos, real-world case studies, and carefully curated readings deepen knowledge.

Cross-cultural Leadership Consultant, Trainer, and Coach

Samad Aidane, MSc. PMP, is a cross-cultural leadership development consultant, trainer, and coach. His industry experience spans telecom, finance, health care, and government projects in the U.S., Germany, Austria, and Belgium, with organizations such as HP, Cap Gemini, Time Warner Telecom, and Telefonica. 

Samad holds a Master of Science Degree in the Neuroscience of Leadership from Middlesex University, U.K. His current Ph.D. research in Applied Neuroscience investigates how findings from neuroscience, social science, and behavioral science can inform our understanding of the effect of culture on emotions, cognition, and behavior and their application to leadership and Cultural Intelligence development. 

Samad is certified by the Project Management Institute (PMP) and a member of the Social & Affective Neuroscience Society. He has been a featured speaker for organizations such as Nike, Emirates Airlines, and T-Mobile and presented at international conferences, such as Project Management Institute Global Congresses and Oracle OpenWorld.
