Course Overview

The Lead. Always. Certificate is a hybrid leadership program designed for professionals across all industries who want to sharpen leadership skills, improve team effectiveness, and drive organizational success.

The program begins with a two-day, in-person kickoff and continues with six online instructor-led modules over five months. This format balances flexibility with the benefits of peer collaboration and guided coaching. No prerequisites are required, making it accessible to both emerging leaders and experienced managers.

In-Person Kickoff (2 Days | 16 Hours)

  • Explore leadership identity, strengths, and values.
  • Map organizational strategy and audience needs.
  • Identify leadership strengths and areas for growth.
  • Create an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
  • Assess team culture and dynamics.
  • Use scorecards to track performance and strategic objectives.

Online Modules (Six, 3-week each) 

  1. Emotional Intelligence & Self-Awareness– Understand EQ, identify strengths, and build an EQ action plan.
  2. Interpersonal Communication – Adapt communication styles and strengthen dialogue across contexts.
  3. Conflict Resolution – Learn negotiation, mediation, and active listening techniques.
  4. Inclusivity & Diversity – Build cultural responsiveness and turn inclusion into action.
  5. Problem-Solving & Leading Change – Apply tools like SWOT and root cause analysis; lead innovation and resilience.
  6. Team Development & Collaboration – Understand team stages, overcome barriers, and build trust-driven performance.

Audience

Open to professionals across industries, with a special focus on healthcare supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders preparing to take on leadership responsibilities.

Megan Carle's career journey is a testament to her exceptional leadership. After graduating from the University of Oregon, she joined Nike through an Oregonian newspaper ad. Over the next 30 years, she climbed the corporate ladder at one of the world's most iconic companies, finishing her career there as Vice President/General Manager of Basketball for North America, where she drove businesses featuring superstars like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Post-Nike, Megan founded Carle Consulting LLC, which provides consumer-informed brand strategies, workplace culture workshops, and executive coaching from startup to Fortune 500. As an executive coach, she empowers emerging leaders from diverse sectors. Megan's approach focuses on leveraging individual strengths for clearly defined goals, drawing inspiration from her sports-rich experiences. She resides in Portland, Oregon, with her family, balancing her passions for athletics and music in her pursuit of excellence. Megan embodies exceptional leadership and a dedication to nurturing others' potential.
