Located in Bend, Oregon, the OSU-Cascades campus is home to our four-year business degree programs in business administration and hospitality. OSU-Cascades is a growing campus for OSU, capturing the energy of Bend, one of Oregon’s most thriving economies — boosted by entrepreneurship and sustainability-minded corporations, and natural beauty that drives hospitality and tourism.

Class sizes are smaller and more personal; typically about 15 students per class, while student are still tapping into the academic resources and reputational excellence of Oregon State University. It is the best of both worlds really, an OSU degree while experiencing one of the hippest, most liveable cities in America.

In 2023, SnoPlanks founders James Nicol and Ryan Holmes made an extraordinary move. Wanting to give students the truly hands-on opportunity of running an outdoor products company, they donated their Bend-based snowboard company to OSU-Cascades.

SnoPlanks Academy was born, and it's been only fresh powder since.
