Course Overview

This 10-hour self-paced course introduces the foundational principles, practices, and mindset of the Scrum framework, one of the most widely used approaches to Agile project management. Designed for professionals across industries, the course provides a clear understanding of how Scrum enables teams to deliver value through collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Participants will explore the core components of Scrum, including roles, events, and artifacts, and learn how Agile teams plan, execute, and review work in short, iterative cycles. Through practical examples and real-world case studies, learners gain insight into how Scrum supports faster decision-making, improved communication, and stronger outcomes in complex project environments.

The course emphasizes practical application, helping participants understand how Scrum teams organize work, manage product backlogs, and deliver incremental value to customers and stakeholders. By the end of the program, learners will have a strong working knowledge of Scrum principles and be better prepared to contribute to or support Agile teams.

Course Format

This 10-hour self-paced course provides a dynamic and engaging learning experience that combines interactive elements such as games, flashcards, expert-led video content, real-world case studies, and curated readings. Participants can progress through the material at their own pace while quizzes and interactive exercises reinforce key concepts and help track progress.

Case studies and insights from experienced Scrum practitioners provide practical guidance on applying Scrum principles in real-world team environments.

The course also includes an “Ask the Expert” feature, allowing participants to submit questions directly to a subject matter expert. Questions typically receive a response within 24 hours, providing additional support throughout the learning experience.

This course is part of the Scrum Master program.
