After successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
-
Explain core Agile values and principles, and describe the Scrum framework—its roles, events, and artifacts—and how AI can support (but not replace) these practices.
-
Differentiate between the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team roles, and outline their interdependent responsibilities, including how each role can leverage AI for research, analysis, and collaboration.
-
Map the Scrum cycle, from Sprint Planning through Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, demonstrating how each event supports transparency, inspection, and adaptation—and where AI tools can streamline preparation, note-taking, and insights.
-
Identify and apply Scrum artifacts—Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Increment—detailing how they integrate to maintain a shared understanding of project goals, and how AI can assist with backlog refinement, clustering, and pattern recognition.
-
Develop and refine User Stories, prioritize backlog items, and use estimation techniques such as Story Points to plan sprints effectively, using AI as a thinking partner for scenario exploration, test ideas, and acceptance criteria (with humans retaining final judgment).
-
Select and use tools and techniques, including AI-powered platforms, to meet and exceed evolving customer needs, incorporating feedback loops and data-informed insights for continuous improvement.
-
Lead a Scrum team in delivering value incrementally, fostering collaboration, removing impediments, sustaining a high-performance culture, and modeling ethical, transparent use of AI in team workflows.
