Alexa Johnson

Alexa is the Transfer Transitions Coordinator for Oregon State University's College of Business, where she has been supporting students since 2022. In her role, she works with prospective, incoming, and current transfer students, guiding them through every stage of their journey to OSU.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a Master's degree in Education Leadership and Management. Her career in higher education began in the nonprofit sector, where she worked with the Fulbright Commission in London, UK  - an experience that shaped her global perspective on educational access and opportunity. Before joining OSU, she gained extensive experience in academic advising at several community colleges, giving her a deep understanding of the unique paths transfer students take.

Alexa is passionate about meeting transfer students where they are and helping them find their footing, their community, and their confidence at OSU!
