James returned to the PNW in 2020 after a decade of attending graduate school and adjuncting in various colleges and universities around the US. Before arriving at OSU, James worked as an adjunct philosophy professor, academic writing tutor, and philosophy mentor. His research interests include the philosophy and history of education, philosophy of culture, and ethical theory. James’ passion for education and education theory informs his commitment to the student experience.
When he isn’t teaching or philosophizing, James can be found biking, hiking, enjoying a cold brew with friends, or playing competitive games online. He is drawn to nature and the outdoors, and enjoys socializing with loved ones.
James serves as an Instructor for the Blueprint series in the College of Business and works as a Program Manager for Student Engagement. He is always excited to meet students and serve as a resource in their academic and professional lives.
