Biography

Stephen Hodges graduated from Oregon State University in 2010 and made his way back in 2016. As the first graduate of what was then the Austin Entrepreneurship Program, it's been a full-circle moment for him to return and help shape the next generation of business leaders.

With years of experience running his own company, BosonHub Digital Development LLC, Stephen brings a wealth of practical business knowledge into the classroom, offering students real-world insights with a relatable and engaging teaching style. Known for building strong connections with his students, Stephen believes that solid relationships are the foundation of meaningful student engagement and success.

His passion for pre-college programming and entrepreneurial education only adds to his dedication to inspiring future business professionals. It's been a fun and rewarding journey for Stephen to be back at OSU, where he enjoys helping students find their own paths—just like he did.

Outside of the classroom, Stephen is deeply involved in the local community, participating in a couple of area Chambers of Commerce, serving as a Deacon at his church, and supporting various nonprofits. When he's not busy teaching or networking, you’ll find him running The Bad Ideas Garage, his YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing a mix of hilariously bad ideas with seriously cool car projects.

Stephen’s life is just as full at home, where he enjoys time with his two kids, a spastic dog, and his wonderful wife, all while keeping his busy schedule balanced between family, work, and, of course, the next big idea (or misadventure) in the garage.
