Brian Yoss

Brian is a lifelong technologist turned entrepreneur. After more than 20 years in the software industry — including 15 years at McAfee and most recently as an Engineering Manager at Blackpoint Cyber — Brian stepped away from the corporate world to launch Waterloo Turf Portland, a premium artificial turf installation franchise serving the greater Portland metro area.

Brian now applies his background in technology, team leadership, and process management to building a home improvement business from the ground up — proving that the skills developed in software translate powerfully to any industry.

Brian graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management Information Systems and a minor in Communications.
