FAFSA, ORSAA and Scholarships: What you need to know
Everyone should apply! You could be awarded need-based and/or merit-based aid and scholarships. Applying is the first step. Don’t miss out on potential opportunities, such as a scholarship offer from the College of Business. Funds are limited, but if you apply by the priority deadline, February 28, 2026, to increase your chances of getting the support you need. Finally, remember to apply every year. The 2026-2027 FAFSA/ORSAA is available now. More information here. Important dates for financial aid here.
OSU's ScholarDollars: Starting November 1, your student could begin applying for all OSU and College of Business (COB) scholarships through OSU’s ScholarDollars. The College of Business deadline is February 15, 2026.
FAFSA: Remember that if your student is eligible, to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2026-27 academic year before February 28! It’s important to prepare for this application again as there are certain awards, like Oregon Opportunity Grant or FSEOG Grant, that are first come, first served. If your student waits, they might miss out on certain programs. For all of your FAFSA and Financial Aid questions, use OSU’s FinancialAid TV to find easy to understand answers.
ORSAA: If your student is undocumented and residing in Oregon, they may be eligible for state and OSU aid. The 2026-2027 Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) is available now. Remember, these are aid programs that are first come, first served, so apply right away.
