FAFSA, ORSAA and Scholarships: What you need to know
Everyone should apply! You could be awarded need-based and/or merit-based aid and scholarships. Applying is the first step. Don’t miss out on potential opportunities, such as a scholarship offer from the College of Business. Funds are limited, but if you apply by the priority deadline, February 29, 2025, to increase your chances of getting the support you need. Finally, remember to apply every year. Next year’s applications should become available October 1, 2025.
OSU's ScholarDollars: Starting November 1, your student could begin applying for all OSU and College of Business (COB) scholarships through OSU's ScholarDollars. The College of Business deadline is February 15, 2025.
FAFSA: Remember that if your student is eligible, to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2025-26 academic year will begin in December! It’s important to prepare for this application again as there are certain awards, like Oregon Opportunity Grant or FSEOG Grant, that are first come, first served. If your student waits, they might miss out on certain programs. For all of your FAFSA and Financial Aid questions, use OSU's FinancialAid TV to find easy to understand answers.
ORSAA: If your student is undocumented and residing in Oregon, they may be eligible for state and OSU aid. Starting in December 2024, you can complete the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) for the 2025-26 academic year. Remember, these are aid programs that are first come, first served, so apply right away.
