College of Business Thought Leadership Series Virtual Event – “The perils of going viral: How receiving online attention can bias our perceptions” featuring Dr. Matthew Hall
The College of Business is back with another Thought Leadership Series Event, aimed to amplify the benefits of business research and elevate the innovative and thought-provoking research being spearheaded by various faculty within the college.
Join us for our Winter 2025 Thought Leadership Series Live Event, "The perils of going viral: How receiving online attention can bias our perceptions" taking place on Wednesday, March 19 at noon (PST) where we’ll be featuring College of Business Assistant Professor of Marketing Matthew Hall.
Hall will explore how online attention – through likes, views, and clicks – shapes the way consumers perceive themselves and interact with others offline. Hall's research delves into the psychological impact of social validation and its influence on both digital behavior and real-world connections. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the power of online attention.
