Overview
Biography
With over three decades of experience in leadership, management, education, and digital technology, I am a highly accomplished professional transitioning to academic faculty to share practical knowledge and real-world insights. My expertise encompasses personal and professional development, strategic leadership, ethics, program and project management, team dynamics, organizational systems, and cross-cultural environments. As a faith-centered professional, I am committed to creating dynamic learning environments that equip students and professionals for success in their careers.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from George Fox University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University. My professional and research interests include personal and professional identity and how it impacts organizational design and culture. Other professional interests include individual and team dynamics, Cross-Cultural Communication, People Development, Mentoring, Coaching, and Teaching.
When not leading teams or delivering solutions, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I find solace in activities such as gathering around the firepit, playing the guitar, cooking, gardening, meditation, reading, and writing. Occasionally, I also enjoy a round of golf with my wife and son, although not always in that order.
Ultimately, I possess an infectious desire to make life and work enjoyable. I am an advocate for individuals to embrace their authentic selves, to realize their gifts and develop their talents, and to have the courage to use them to better the world we live in. In the words of Oscar Wilde, “Be Yourself, because everyone else is already taken.”
