Biography

Chad Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business at Oregon State University. His primary research interests include professional identity, institutional change, and language and rhetoric in organizations. Chad received his Ph.D. in Management & Organization from Penn State University in 2014.

Dr. Chad Murphy's research interests center on professional identity, institutional change, language and rhetoric in organizations, and qualitative methods. His research has been published in Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Leadership Quarterly, Human Resource Management Review, and Journal of Management Inquiry.
