Biography
Qi Xie is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Oregon State University College of Business. Before joining Oregon State University, she received a Bachelor of Economics from Peking University, a M.S. in Business Analytics from University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. Qi's research mainly focuses on understanding user behavior on digital platforms to derive insights that can guide platform designs. In her work, Qi employs a combination of methodologies including econometric modeling, difference-in-difference estimators, and field experiments.
