Foundational AI Knowledge for the Modern Workplace

AI Literacy for the Workplace introduces learners to the different types of AI and how AI systems are trained using data. The course explores how AI appears in everyday life and across industries, helping learners understand both the benefits and the limitations of using AI tools effectively.

Students examine ethical issues, bias, and data privacy concerns related to AI, as well as strategies for identifying, avoiding, and reporting AI-powered scams. The course emphasizes responsible and safe use of AI by teaching practical privacy, security, and cybersecurity strategies. Learners gain foundational knowledge that enables them to make informed decisions about using AI tools for personal, academic, and professional purposes while navigating the digital environment with greater confidence.

Learners will also examine ethical issues, bias, and privacy concerns, along with strategies for identifying and avoiding AI‑related scams. The course emphasizes responsible use of AI and teaches practical data privacy and security skills that help learners navigate not only AI tools, but the broader digital environment with confidence and safety.
