Just like businesses, individuals make informed financial decisions — be the one who helps create financial security. The financial planning option, available to finance majors, equips you with the knowledge required to fulfill coursework requirements and prepare for the CFP® exam.

Designed for flexibility, the financial planning option is available through both Ecampus and on-campus delivery in Corvallis. The option is open to all College of Business finance students. Students are encouraged to complete FIN 460 and FIN 342 during their junior year, as these courses are prerequisites for enrolling in the FPO program in their senior year.
