Admissions
OSU microcredentials are available to degree- and nondegree-seeking students. Graduate-level microcredentials require a bachelor’s degree. While a college degree is not necessary for undergraduate microcredentials, some courses have prerequisites that would require previous college credit.
Microcredentials are offered online, with four start dates per year. With only about a week needed to process the application, you can apply to OSU and start the microcredential in a very short time frame. Application deadlines are close to each term's start date. Contact the Office of Admissions for more information.
Non-degree students do not qualify for financial aid, but we want you to be focused on your education, not concerned about how to pay for it. We have financial management resources for every student focused on long-term and short-term financial planning. Please check them out, and connect if you have questions.
Your microcredential application is available through OSU's application portal; choose "Microcredentials" and then the link for "undergraduate" or "graduate" (if already have a bachelor's degree). More information about microcredentials is available here.
