College of Business maintains AACSB accreditation through 2030–31
The AACSB re-accreditation signals continued momentum in advancing our mission — to prepare students for a changing world through access, innovation and real-world learning opportunities.

We are proud to announce that our accreditation has been reaffirmed by the AACSB Board of Directors through the 2030–31 academic year. This decision follows a rigorous peer-review process and affirms our ongoing commitment to academic quality, innovation and impact.
AACSB accreditation is a mark of excellence held by fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide. Additionally, the college is one of just 196 universities in the world that have achieved accreditation for both accounting and business degree programs. AACSB recognizes institutions that demonstrate a continued focus on delivering high-quality education, producing meaningful research, and preparing graduates to lead in a complex global economy.
The review team highlighted several areas of distinction and excellence for the College of Business, including:

• Strategic integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in curriculum and research
• Innovation Nation, a signature first-year experience that facilitates hands-on, immersive learning of business fundamentals, culminating with students launching microbusinesses
• High-impact cocurricular initiatives such as Bound for Business, an onboarding and support program for new students; CAFE, our center for financial literacy open to all students and community; and Blueprint, the award-wining four-year curriculum focused on professional skills development.
• Exceptional opportunities for experiential learning across degree programs through student clubs, research and internship opportunities
• The Thought Leadership webinar series, a discussion forum that broadens the accessibility of high-tier faculty research with alumni, industry and community
• Oregon’s largest college-run international exchange program, including the Arthur Stonehill International Business Exchange, founded in the 1980s.
“This renewal is a reflection of the commitment from our entire community to pursue continuous improvement,” said Tim Carroll, Ph.D., the Sara Hart Kimball Dean of the College of Business. “We want to take a moment to celebrate this accomplishment and say ‘thank you’ to our faculty and staff, our students and our industry partners. Maintaining our official accreditation reinforces the progress we’ve made and gives us valuable insights on our strengths and areas for improvement.”
The OSU College of Business remains vigorously committed to preparing students for a changing world through access, innovation, and real-world learning opportunities. The AACSB re-accreditation signals continued momentum in advancing that mission.
