Marketing

Marketing includes all of the decisions and activities involved in creating, communicating and delivering products and services that customers value.

Overview

Marketing includes all of the decisions and activities involved in creating, communicating and delivering products and services that customers value. It plays a critical role in strategic decision-making in every industry. The marketing option of the Oregon State MBA allows you to choose from a wide variety of possible areas of focus, including digital marketing — which, according to McKinley Marketing Partners, has been identified by experts as the marketing industry’s most in-demand skill.

You’ll learn to develop and implement marketing strategy by incorporating customer insights and innovative problem-solving. You’ll conduct market research with OSU’s Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights (CMCI) or through internships and projects with leading marketing and market research firms, and prepare for directing marketing decisions in for-profit or non-profit industries.
