Introduction to the tools and concepts of security analysis and investments; basic security types, including stocks, bonds, options and futures, respective markets and to how these securities are traded; fundamental valuation techniques and theory for stocks and bonds.

The goal of this course is to teach students how to become an effective global financial manager. To achieve this goal, the course focuses on important topics that include the fundamentals of the macroeconomic environment of international financial management, the financial environment in which a multinational firm and its managers must function, and the foreign exchange management and financial management in a multinational firm. Students will be exposed to business-related global issues, processes, trends, and systems inside and outside the classroom.
