Which programs are available fully online?
How long will it take to complete my degree?

Our MBA programs range from 45 – 60 credit hours in length. Our MSB programs are 45-credit hours in length.

The minimum amount of time it takes to complete a degree in Corvallis programs is 9 months with a fall term start (45-credit programs). The minimum amount of time it takes to complete a degree fully online or via our hybrid program is 21 months with a fall start (45-credit programs). The length of time to complete may vary per student. For more information, please contact a recruiter.

Can I complete my degree online?

Absolutely. You can enroll in any of our fully online graduate business programs, or, if you are looking for the flexibility of an online program with the added value of face-to-face meetings, our hybrid programs (available in Portland) provide you with the opportunity to complete your degree with a combination of online content and in-person sessions.

The number of in-person sessions required for each hybrid course will depend on the course’s learning objectives. Portland in-person classes are held at the OSU Portland Center at Pioneer Square, typically on weekday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.

Students requiring an international student visa are not eligible for our hybrid programs. Additionally, all Core 1 coursework is currently offered fully online.

Where and when are the in-person classes held for the Portland hybrid program?
  • Portland: In-person classes are held at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building on the South Waterfront in Portland. Classes are typically held on weekday evenings from 6 to 9 pm.
I hear that OSU is on a quarter system, what does that mean?
  • OSU has three terms (called “quarters”) each academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring). Classes are 10 weeks of instruction plus one week for finals (for comparison, semester systems typically have two 15-week terms in their academic year).
  • OSU also has a Summer term that offers different sessions for classes including accelerated course formats. Most graduate business classes meet only during fall, winter, and spring terms.
  • Please see the OSU academic calendar for more information.
When can I start?

In most cases, part-time students can start our programs any term.

Full-time students in Corvallis will need to start either in Summer (12-month program), or Fall (9-month program).

Start terms may vary per student. For more information, please contact a recruiter.
