College of Business

After 25 years of service to the College of Business, Dan Brown retired in 1999. Although his main teaching interest is in Marketing Planning, he developed new classes in Marketing Research, New Product Development, and Electronic Commerce. He served one year as Director of Marketing for Oregon State University, and was presented the Beaver Champion Award by President Byrne. He conducted many market research projects for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. In the early part of his OSU career he was Faculty Advisor to Pi Sigma Epsilon, a National Professional Fraternity in Marketing.
