Student Success

Originally from the east coast, Lauren moved to Oregon in 2011 to attend OSU for her graduate studies. A decade later, she and her family are still here, captivated by the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty. She and her husband Phil love to hike, mountain bike, and cross country ski, recently re-learning what adventuring looks like, now with two little kids in tow. If nothing else, having kids taught them to slow down, let go of their expectations, and see the world through fresh eyes. 

Lauren serves as an Assistant Director for Student Engagement, overseeing Blueprint programming and working with prospective and current transfer students. She loves to share her journey with students, helping them see that our paths are not always linear...and that's ok!
