We are delighted to thank our donors to the second annual #GivingTuesday campaign here at the College of Business.

We take part in this global day of giving, which kicks off the holiday donation season, not only to (of course) increase our ability to take care of our students, but also to draw attention to this pretty incredible movement. This year the Giving Tuesday organization raised more than $170 million across almost one hundred countries.

One important tenet to a #givingtuesday campaign's success is a vibrant social media presence, and so we got to work adding some fun features to this year’s campaign in addition to our email campaign.

We turned to the OSU video team to create our thank-you video for our social channels that featured our students who have benefited from the generous Beaver network. If you missed our video, please view it here on YouTube.

In the spirit of the movement – we have to say a huge “thank you” to all of our students who were so eager to be involved in this video project. We had more students sign up to participate in our video than we had positions in the clip. We left some amazing and inspirational stories on the proverbial cutting room floor, but we are always so grateful for their response and ethusiasm.

Finally, we leveraged our LinkedIn group to support the campaign ask. Please join us over there. This resource is a great place to connect with us — and reconnect with each other.
