Blends online courses with in-person sessions in Portland
Our Portland MBA students are people looking for flexibility because they are putting in the hours to move the needle at work at the same time as they are pursuing their degree. As working professionals, they want to finish as quickly as they can in a rigorous program that they (and employers) can be proud of. That’s exactly why we've built the Portland Hybrid program.
Our Portland Hybrid programs are part time. The length of the MBA program may vary depending on a student’s academic background.
We’re an AACSB-accredited college, and our Portland Hybrid courses are taught by Oregon State faculty.
The Portland MBA programs are delivered in a hybrid format, a flexible blend of online coursework and in-person sessions. Online coursework may include watching recorded lectures, working on group projects or reading case studies and other materials.
In-person sessions are the opportunity to meet with classmates and faculty to cover course materials, learn from faculty and network with peers. The in-person classes are built to your advantage; we don’t believe in wasting time. So don’t expect these sessions to be lectures; you can view lectures online. In-person classes are all about making sure you’re forging connections with your peers, meeting the right people (including alumni and other experts), engaging in discussions on advanced concepts, and presenting project work for review and feedback.
Portland in-person classes are held at the Robertson Collaborative Life Sciences Building on the South Waterfront in Portland, typically on weekday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.
