Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club provides a space for student entrepreneurs to come together to share their innovative new startup ideas and find business partners. This club also hosts entrepreneurship speakers, runs innovation workshop, and hosts the annual Oregon Cup funding competition.

Inventor’s Enterprise

The Inventor’s Enterprise is a driven and passionate community of Oregon State University students that collaboratively pitch and develop inventions or creative ideas. They provide a medium for OSU students to work together in order to produce inventions that advance human civilization on all fronts: technological, societal and overall welfare.

3D Printer Club

The 3D Printer Club provides opportunities to learn about cutting-edge 3D printing technologies. They also provide workshops to hone prototyping and fabrication skills and to design new 3D printers to push the technology to its limits.

16xOSU

16xOSU is an international organization focused on social entrepreneurship. An example of 16xOSU work includes collaboration with TERREWODE, an NGO based in Uganda that fights for women's rights and health issues. 16xOSU is supporting TERREWODE in their efforts to build out their business model.

Funding Opportunities

Oregon Cup

Traditionally held in spring term, the Oregon Cup brings together entrepreneurs from schools across the state to compete for funding and bragging rights as Oregon's and OSU’s best startup.

The Next Great Startup is Oregon State University’s cornerstone competition for undergraduate and graduate students looking to turn a startup idea into a real company; more than $30,000 in cash and services is awarded throughout the competition.

The Giles Student Entrepreneurs Fund

Giles Student Entrepreneurs Fund (of up to $5,000) makes resources available exclusively to students participating in Launch Academy. Launch Academy students learn how to deliver an elevator pitch and ultimately pitch to earn Giles Student Entrepreneur Funds.

Iterate — Accelerate — Launch

The Iterate, Accelerate and Launch programs, offered by the OSU Advantage Accelerator, focus on high-growth, traded sector startup concepts and early stage organizations. The three-program approach is designed to best assist clients (students, faculty, staff and the greater OSU community) at all stages of growth, from identifying a potential product, market and industry to testing the feasibility of a startup and validating its business model to startup growth and scaling.

Entrepreneurship Office Hours

Book an appointment to speak with a faculty or staff member about your business idea and get feedback and connections to resources at OSU that can help you move forward.

Office hours are hosted on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. in the College of Business Career Success Center and can be booked by emailing (business.careers@oregonstate.edu), calling (541-737-8957) or visiting the Career Success Center (located in Austin Hall Room 102). Walk-ins are welcome.
