Full-time or part-time graduate studies are offered in person at the Corvallis campus.
You can earn an Oregon State specialized master’s part time or full time, fully online or in person. We work with you to design the right mix of online and in-person courses and plan a balanced workload, so you can keep your graduate degree on track.
We design our specialized master’s degrees with feedback from industry partners as a direct response to market needs. This gives you a deep dive into job skills that the marketplace urgently calls for across industry sectors.
The business master's degrees at Oregon State University have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) code designation. As a STEM-designated degree recipient, international students who graduate with their specialized master’s are eligible to extend their F1 visa status from 12 to 36 months in the optional practical training (OPT) program.
The STEM designation offers important benefits for recruiting and post-graduation employment. In particular, the STEM Designated Degree Program, which is housed within the Department of Homeland Security and based on definitions administered by the Department of Education, is intended to ensure an adequate supply of STEM workers for U.S. employers.
STEM designations for business programs are unusual and denote strong technical and quantitative rigor within the curriculum. Our master of science in business is centered around an analytical curriculum with focus areas in finance, analytics, marketing and supply chain. The degree is available in Corvallis and online through OSU's Ecampus.
